Holmenkol OvalBrush Bronce Long Wire

The HOLMENKOL OvalBrush Bronze Long Wire is an oval ski-base brush with long bronze bristles. Article 24534 is listed with a bristle length of 20 mm. It is used to clean and brush ski and snowboard bases before or after hot waxing. A hand strap over the brush body helps you guide the tool. The long bristles identify this version and distinguish it from brushes intended for later polishing steps.

Selection and use

Secure the ski or board before brushing. Follow HOLMENKOL’s preparation instructions for the sequence, direction and pressure, taking the base and wax into account. Remove excess wax with the intended tool before the relevant brushing stage. Guide the brush steadily and select the appropriate brush for any subsequent preparation steps.

Care and inspection

Remove wax residue and dirt from the bristles as directed by the manufacturer. Inspect the bristles, body and hand strap for damage. Store the brush dry and protect the bristles from being bent for long periods. Keep brushes clean between preparation steps to avoid transferring unwanted residue back onto the base.
