LOWA has done it again. And made something even better out of something already good.
Take the well-known SUPPORT FRAME and combine it with a completely new sole concept – et voilà: a new milestone in the hiking sector.
The INNOVO GTX MID Ws therefore features not only a double-injected, comfortably cushioning LOWA® DYNAPU® midsole.
The state-of-the-art hiking boot also features an extra-high heel-area outsole in a "Chunky Style", which offers optimal grip thanks to the multi-directional lug design and the resulting larger contact area.
The hiking boot also breaks new ground in terms of wearing comfort and benefits from a robust material mix of split leather and textile, a waterproof GORE-TEX membrane, and a variety of breathable areas. Together with a spoiler-shaped collar, the two-zone lacing extended far forward, and a speed hook, this ensures an optimal fit.
These features are complemented by a high-rise toe bumper and pull tabs for easier entry and exit.
Made for miles of first-class hiking pleasure.

For light hikes and day trips, multi-function boots are the ideal companions.
They are designed for a variety of outdoor activities and are therefore universally applicable in different terrains.
Women's Lasts
To ensure an optimal fit, the last of the INNOVO GTX MID Ws is specially adapted to the female anatomy.
The last is largely responsible for the boot fitting well.
Since women's feet have a smaller volume, the instep height and ball circumference are adjusted, for example.
Lowa Terra Trac
The INNOVO GTX MID Ws is equipped with a LOWA RUBBER OUTSOLE.
This is a rubber outsole designed by LOWA with an activity-specific tread pattern made from an optimized rubber compound.
The advantage of a rubber outsole lies in its good grip.
The LOWA® TERRA TRAC® sole scores with the combination of a multi-directional tread pattern with many individual elements with straight break edges, which ensures a high level of grip on your next hike.
The sole also features a pronounced heel edge, which has a positive effect on walking comfort.
Double Injection
For effective cushioning and high wearing comfort, the sole of the INNOVO GTX MID Ws is bonded to the upper using a technically sophisticated injection process.
The upper is placed into a specially made mold.
PU foam is then introduced into this in different layers.
This creates the sole, which bonds directly with the upper to form a single unit.
Support Frame
In the INNOVO GTX MID Ws model, the midsole in the form of the LOWA-MONOWRAP® frame ensures maximum comfort.
This is a three-dimensional midsole design that LOWA developed in 1995.
This frame comfortably encloses the foot and thus supports it on uneven terrain.
In boots with a SUPPORT FRAME, the sole construction is slightly raised.
Low DynaPU
The midsole is largely responsible for the rolling behavior and cushioning of a boot.
In the INNOVO GTX MID Ws, this consists of a specially developed plastic: LOWA DynaPU®.
The special feature: Even if it is compressed a thousand times, it still retains its resilience.
This means that the boots made from it still have very good cushioning properties even after many miles.
