The Race Type MT is Blizzard's new vision of a 67 mm waisted race ski with a 15 m radius. Born from decades of Austrian high-performance tradition and filled with fresh, ambitious creativity, it is not a step back but a leap forward. Blizzard's state-of-the-art Trueblend Race wood core and a modernised sidecut meet proven construction: phenolic sidewalls, World Cup bases and triple Titanal reinforcement. These elements combine to form a ski that is different from every other in the Blizzard range: powerful, precise and uncompromisingly different. This ski is not for followers.
Target group: Skiers who have moved beyond the basics and feel more comfortable on the piste, making strong parallel turns with solid edge control. These skiers explore more of the mountain and ski most pistes in most ski areas, but are still improving their skills to tackle the most difficult pistes with confidence. Most intermediate skiers can adjust and control their speed while adapting to different terrain and snow conditions.
Highly experienced skiers who can handle all types of terrain with ease. Even at high speed, these skiers are balanced, controlled and confident. They ski efficiently and with strong technique, regardless of turn shape and speed. Expert skiers enjoy the challenge of varying conditions and terrain, from groomed pistes to deep snow, dense trees and wide open slopes, quickly adapting to unexpected obstacles along the way.

RACE-TYPE CONSTRUCTION
Developed directly by our race department, this ski features a Trueblend Race wood core combined with continuous Titanal layers from tip to tail for uncompromising power transmission and edge precision. A phenolic sidewall provides razor-sharp grip and maximum torsional rigidity, while the dual Titanal construction in the upper layer, separated by a thin rubber damping layer, offers a dynamic and progressive flex that adapts optimally in every turn. The result: race-inspired control and confidence, wherever you push your limits.
TRUEBLEND RACE WOODCORE
Trueblend Woodcore means that different types of wood are combined in a special process to form a wood core. By adjusting the number and length of the woods of different densities, we can tune and set the flex precisely.
RACING PERFORMANCE
The Trueblend Piste Woodcore has a stiffer flex in the middle of the ski (stability and edge grip), a medium-stiff flex in front of and behind the binding (more control) and a softer flex in the tip and at the tail (easier turn initiation and release). Thanks to Trueblend technology, we can tune the flex precisely over the entire length of the ski and so achieve the desired behaviour in all sizes.
WORLD CUP RUNNING BASE
A World Cup race base with a precise herringbone structure ensures exceptional gliding and optimum wax absorption in all snow conditions. Developed for racers and professionals alike, the refined micro-profile minimises friction and maximises acceleration, for the unmistakable World Cup smoothness from start to finish.

In-stock items usually ship from our warehouse within 1 to 3 working days. If the item is in stock in one of our stores, you can also pick it up there free of charge. In Pfronten this also works for items that are only in stock in Ronsberg: we bring them over, which usually takes 2 to 4 days.
