After the appointment
The real test is the piste.
What fits well in the shop can feel different after three hours on the piste. That's why our bootfitting doesn't end at the shop door. Ski for two or three days. If something still bothers you, come to the follow-up check with your fit pass.

How the follow-up check works
20 minutes, after you've skied.
With what your first days on skis have shown, we see what couldn't be seen in the shop yet.
Choose an appointment-
0 to 5 min
Tell us what bothers you
Where does it pinch, when and after how many hours? Your fit pass tells us what we did at the first appointment.
-
5 to 15 min
Take another look
We look at your foot and boot again. What can be done right away, we do right away.
-
15 to 20 min
What happens next
Is that enough, or does the boot need more time in the workshop? You know before you leave, and we note it on your pass.
Frequently asked questions
What you want to know beforehand.
What if it still hurts on the piste?
Then come back. Ski for two to three days, note where and when it bothers you, and book a follow-up check with the number on your fit pass. Please don't grit your teeth for weeks.
What can really be changed on a ski boot?
More than most people think: the width at the forefoot, the room at the ankle, the heel hold, the volume at the instep, cuff and forward lean. Material and size set the limits. A boot that is clearly too big or too short won't become one that fits, and we tell you that before we start.
Do I have to wait while you widen the boot?
You do have to come in, because we can't widen without your foot. Whether you take the boot home right away depends on the plastic of the shell: some can be widened in half an hour, others spring back and stay clamped overnight. Then you pick up the boot a few days later or we send it to you. If you enter make and model in the fit check, we can tell you beforehand.
