The Löffler W Cycling Shorts Light hotBOND in black is a close-fitting padded inner short for cycling. Manufacturer reference 21273 and colour code 990 identify the model. It can be worn beneath suitable outer cycling shorts and is intended for riders who want a separate seat pad. The close cut is combined with a wide elastic waistband and broad leg cuffs. The pad needs to sit correctly in the position you adopt on the bike.

Löffler joins the elastic material using hotBOND technology, which uses ultrasound to produce flat connections between fabric sections. The model is described as lightweight, breathable and quick drying, with mesh inserts supporting air movement. Its Comfort Gel Air seat pad combines ergonomically shaped foam sections with gel pads around the sit-bone area. These are specific construction features rather than a guarantee of a particular discomfort-free riding duration.

Assess the fit in a bent posture similar to your riding position. The leg cuffs should lie close without cutting in uncomfortably. Follow the sewn-in care label when cleaning; the current manufacturer specification allows washing up to 40°C and excludes tumble drying. Allow the shorts to dry completely before storing them.
