Description
The Black Diamond Vapor AL 2 is a two-section aluminium ski pole for touring and freeride use. Manufacturer reference BD111606 identifies the adjustable version. Its telescopic construction lets you change the pole length for the situation, with an external clamping lever securing the connection between the two shaft sections. This is the adjustable construction rather than a continuous fixed-length shaft.
An extended foam grip provides several hand positions. You can hold below the main grip when moving between different terrain sections. An adjustable wrist strap complements the grip, while the shaped grip head and snow baskets complete the equipment. Choose a length that suits your height, technique and intended use, following the markings on the shaft. Keep the sections sufficiently overlapped within the permitted adjustment range.
Before each trip, check that the clamp holds and that both poles are correctly adjusted. Keep snow and dirt away from the adjustment area and lever. Inspect shafts, straps, grips and baskets regularly for damage. Remove moisture after use and let the poles dry before storage. Follow Black Diamond's instructions when adjusting clamp tension or replacing components.

In-stock items usually ship from our warehouse within 1 to 3 working days. If the item is in stock in one of our stores, you can also pick it up there free of charge. In Pfronten this also works for items that are only in stock in Ronsberg: we bring them over, which usually takes 2 to 4 days. The pickup note above and the checkout show where and when you can pick up. Warranty & returns
Statutory warranty rights apply, plus the manufacturer's guarantee where one is granted. You can return unused items within 14 days of receipt; register the return in your customer account. We refund the purchase price of the items minus a 5 € return fee (6.90 € from abroad); you receive the return label from us. Skis mounted according to your details are excluded from exchange.
