Holmenkol Universal Adapter

The HOLMENKOL Universal Adapter extends compatible alpine ski vises for preparing cross-country skis, freeride skis and snowboards. It is used with the outer supports of an appropriate ski vise.

Construction and application

The rubberised support surface helps keep the equipment in place. Depending on the required arrangement, the adapters can be clamped lengthways or crossways in the outer holders. The manufacturer reference for this version is 24441-1.

At the workbench

Before use, check that the holders and outer supports of your ski vise accept the adapter. Fit it according to the instructions and check its attachment before preparing the base. Match support positions to the length and width of the ski or snowboard. The enlarged support surface helps adapt the work area to different equipment.

Use a stable working area and keep contact surfaces free from wax residue, filing dust and metal particles. Check the attachment of both the tool and the workpiece before beginning. This helps maintain the chosen setup during preparation.

Clean the tool after use and store it in a dry place. Before the next session, inspect moving parts, supports and attachments for visible damage or accumulated dirt. The tool instructions and the requirements of the ski or snowboard manufacturer remain the basis for the particular application.

In-stock items usually ship from our warehouse within 1 to 3 working days. If the item is in stock in one of our stores, you can also pick it up there free of charge. In Pfronten this also works for items that are only in stock in Ronsberg: we bring them over, which usually takes 2 to 4 days.
