Black Diamond Ultralight Ice Screw

Designed for ski mountaineering, glacier hiking and high-performance alpinism, the ultralight ice screws live up to their name.
With 45% less weight than our Express Screws, the Ultralight screw combines a steel tip with an aluminum body and a forged aluminum hanger with two attachment eyes.
The innovative Express handle with wire catch also saves weight and locks when opening and closing.
The lengths of the ultralights are identified using the classic Black Diamond color scheme.
