Hybrid battery compartment included
The Hybrid battery compartment can hold either a rechargeable Silva Hybrid Battery Pack or 3 x AAA batteries (not included). This means that AAA batteries can be used as backup if your battery runs out. The housing features textured surfaces and an integrated red safety light – for added visibility
Long-range battery included
In addition to the Hybrid battery compartment, which gives you multiple battery options, the Trail Runner Free 2 Ultra comes with a rechargeable, long-lasting 4.0 Ah (14.8 Wh) Battery Pack, neatly housed in a soft case with multiple attachment points. The 4.0 Ah (14.8 Wh) battery is perfect for extended burn time during longer running sessions. The battery features a 4-level battery indicator and can be charged anywhere with the included USB cable
Customized light distribution
In the 2nd generation of Trail Runner Free, cooling has been optimized by a more powerful cooling system, allowing the lamp to produce up to 550 lumens (depending on battery type) while maintaining its comfort and low weight. Our ultra-runners were an important part of the design process and the Trail Runner Free 2 series is designed for running in every respect. All three headlamps in this series feature Silva Intelligent Light. This means you get dual light beam technology in your headlamp, with light settings perfectly suited for running. Our unique combination of a long-range spotlight and a close flood light results in fewer head movements, better control, improved balance, less fatigue and higher speed
Comfort in every detail
While we focused on technological breakthroughs, we didn't forget the importance of weight optimization. Every part of this headlamp has been compressed and the lamp unit weighs only 61 grams (without batteries). The headlamp is perfectly balanced, easy to adjust and features a flat, soft textile extension cable that won't tangle. The headband is soft yet firm enough, with a silicone strip on the inside to keep it in place. The battery can be comfortably worn on the headband or kept warm in a pocket using the included textile extension cable to extend battery life
Run far or fast
Choose Trail Runner Free 2 Ultra if you want to really complete long training sessions with the 4.0 Ah (14.8 Wh) long-range battery. With Free 2 Ultra you also get the Hybrid battery compartment, which can be used with either 3 x AAA batteries or a Hybrid battery (1.25 Ah/4.6 Wh)

Shipping & advice
In-stock items usually ship from our warehouse within 1 to 3 working days. If the item is in stock in one of our stores, you can also pick it up there free of charge. In Pfronten this also works for items that are only in stock in Ronsberg: we bring them over, which usually takes 2 to 4 days. The pickup note above and the checkout show where and when you can pick up. Skis with binding mounting take a little longer: we mount them carefully and let you know as soon as your set is on its way. Personal advice is available by appointment in our store in Ronsberg. Warranty & returns
Statutory warranty rights apply, plus the manufacturer's guarantee where one is granted. You can return unused items within 14 days of receipt; register the return in your customer account. We refund the purchase price of the items minus a 5 € return fee (6.90 € from abroad); you receive the return label from us. Skis mounted according to your details are excluded from exchange.
