The TR Vario Carbon is a high-quality touring ski pole that is your perfect companion uphill and downhill. The upper shaft consists of high-quality Alu 7075, the lower shaft is made of ultra-light, stable carbon with ski edge protection made of aramid. The telescoping pole can be easily and safely adjusted in length, allowing you to adapt it to the respective slope angle during the climb. Its ergonomic tour grip gives you reliable hold in any situation and can – thanks to a tour safety strap with safety release – prevent injuries.

Which pole length do I need?

Alpine, touring, classic and skating need different pole lengths. For adjustable poles, check the usable length range.

Check when trying out

  • The grip should feel secure in your hand while wearing your gloves.
  • For adjustable poles, your working length must stay within the approved range. Follow the manufacturer’s markings and locking instructions.
  • Use the separate guidance for classic and skating. Do not apply the alpine elbow check to Nordic poles.

Measure your height and check pole length

Alpine fit check: stand upright, hold the pole vertically and check your relaxed elbow angle.
  1. Measure your height without shoes from the floor to the top of your head.
  2. Compare it with the manufacturer’s guidance for your sport. Packed length is the collapsed length for transport.
  3. For alpine poles: place the pole vertically and check that your upper and lower arm form roughly a right angle. Use separate sport-specific guidance for Nordic poles.

Description
The TR Vario Carbon is a high-quality touring ski pole that's your perfect companion both up and down. The upper shaft consists of high-quality alu 7075, the lower shaft of ultra-lightweight, stable carbon with ski edge protection from aramid. The telescopic pole can be easily and safely adjusted in length so you can adapt it to the respective slope angle during the ascent.
Its ergonomic tour grip provides reliable hold in every situation and can prevent injuries thanks to a tour safety strap with safety trigger. In addition, the TR Carbon Vario is equipped with an EVA grip extension so you can comfortably grip the pole further down. Its baskets can be easily replaced if needed.

Shipping & advice

In-stock items usually ship from our warehouse within 1 to 3 working days. If the item is in stock in one of our stores, you can also pick it up there free of charge. In Pfronten this also works for items that are only in stock in Ronsberg: we bring them over, which usually takes 2 to 4 days. The pickup note above and the checkout show where and when you can pick up. Skis with binding mounting take a little longer: we mount them carefully and let you know as soon as your set is on its way. Personal advice is available by appointment in our store in Ronsberg. Warranty & returns

Statutory warranty rights apply, plus the manufacturer's guarantee where one is granted. You can return unused items within 14 days of receipt; register the return in your customer account. We refund the purchase price of the items minus a 5 € return fee (6.90 € from abroad); you receive the return label from us. Skis mounted according to your details are excluded from exchange.
