Description

The Tour Carbon Light is a lightweight companion for an enjoyable and high-performance mountain experience.
Its lightweight construction and the materials used make it the ideal partner for relaxed nature outings or athletic competitions with friends.
The effort of the ascent is rewarded with outstanding descent performance that is unmatched.

Prepreg – compression molding
The prepreg compression molding process is an advanced manufacturing technique in which the individual components of the ski construction are fused into a single unit under precisely defined pressure and uniform temperature.
"Prepreg" stands for pre-impregnated fibers that are already saturated with a resin system.
These fibers are carefully arranged into the desired shape and arrangement before being placed into the mold.
become.
During the compression molding process, the entire arrangement is pressed together in a mold under high pressure and controlled temperature.
This uniform pressure ensures that all layers and materials are bonded evenly.
Uniform temperature distribution ensures that the resin system cures optimally and a strong, durable bond forms between the layers.

Carbon
The use of carbon fibers in ski construction provides stiffness and low weight.
Carbon fibers offer an excellent strength-to-weight ratio and give the ski dynamic resilience.
This results in improved performance at high speeds and in demanding terrain.

Titanal insert
Titanal is an aluminum alloy used in aerospace engineering and known for its high strength and stability.
In skis, Titanal provides optimal running smoothness and excellent damping properties.
It reduces vibrations and improves the control and precision of the ski, especially at high speeds and on hard slopes.

Sidewall
The sidewall material made of ABS is characterized by its high compressive strength and resistance.
These sidewalls are integrated into various constructions and offer numerous advantages.
One of the most important benefits is stabilizing the transmission of the skier's force to the ski edges when turning.

Base (ultra high sintered base)
These bases are made from high-quality sintered polyethylene with high density, providing high wax absorption and low friction.
These bases offer excellent gliding properties and are wear-resistant.

Paulownia wood core
The wood core offers an excellent balance between flexibility and stability, resulting in improved feel and precise control.
With a special milling technique, the adhesive properties between wood and other components can be further strengthened, making the ski even more resistant.

Frequently asked questions

Advice on choosing touring skis, bindings and climbing skins.

  • How do I check what is included and choose bindings?

Check the product description to find out whether bindings are included and which model comes with the offer. Clarify any uncertainties with us before choosing additional bindings.

  • How do I choose touring ski length?

Alongside your height and skiing ability, consider the balance between climbing and descending. Weight, waist width and construction affect how the ski performs. A personal recommendation takes your terrain and touring style into account.

  • What needs to match for bindings and skins?

Check the ski, binding and boot specifications for the exact combination. Pin bindings require suitable boot inserts. Skins must match the ski in length, width and attachment; ski crampons must suit the binding system and ski width. Check the product details and clarify any uncertainties before buying.
