Swix T162SB Brush small rect. M. Bronze

The Swix T162SB is a small rectangular wax brush with bronze bristles. Use it as the first brushing step after scraping off the wax. Its bristles remove wax residue from the base structure, helping finish the gliding surface after hot waxing.

Where it fits in your routine

Allow the base to cool after hot waxing and remove excess wax with a suitable plexi scraper first. Then work over the gliding surface with the bronze brush. Brush in the running direction, from the ski tip towards the tail, and work evenly across the surface.

Brushing reaches the fine base structure, where wax may remain after the main layer has been scraped away. A suitable nylon brush can follow for finishing. Remove loose wax residue from the bristles before putting the brush away. Keep the tool clean and separate from dirty workshop materials so your next preparation session starts with a clean working surface.
