Swix T161SB Brush small rect. Nylon

The Swix T161SB is a small rectangular all-round brush with white nylon bristles. It is suitable for brushing and polishing glide waxes and complements base care after wax application. Its compact shape is convenient to keep in a wax case alongside your other preparation tools.

Using it after waxing

Follow the processing instructions for the wax you are using. After hot waxing, let the base cool and remove excess wax with a suitable plexi scraper first. The brush then forms part of the surface-finishing stage.

Brush in the running direction from the ski tip towards the tail, working evenly over the gliding surface. On classic cross-country skis, take account of the separate requirements of the glide areas and grip zone. Remove loose wax residue from the bristles after use and keep the brush clean, ready for the next finishing session. The small format is particularly practical when you want to take your care equipment away with you.
