Giro Switchblade Mips Helm - Matt harbour blue
Description
- HYDROPHILIC PADDING:
The hydrophilic pad can absorb up to 10 times its own weight in water and helps you manage sweat while riding. The pad stores moisture to prevent sweat from dripping in your eyes, then dries quickly. The antimicrobial X Static lining reduces odors and keeps your helmet fresh.
- HARDSHELL WITH IN MOLD HARDBODY™ LOWER WRAP:
The two-part shell combines a robust outer hard shell with a polycarbonate sub-shell that is permanently fused to the liner to ensure long life without excess weight.
- INTEGRATED MIPS® BRAIN PROTECTION SYSTEM:
All Giro helmets are designed to reduce as much energy as possible while meeting and exceeding strict safety standards. The goal of Integrated MIPS® equipped Giro helmets is to reduce rotational forces while improving fit and comfort by combining the MIPS sliding plane with the helmet's adjustable fit system. Giro believes helmets equipped with this technology can reduce the rotational force that may be transmitted to the rider's brain during certain impacts.
- POV PLUS VISOR:
Our POV Plus visor features an adjustment mechanism that lets you move the visor up and down in indexed steps. These steps include three riding positions plus a high position for storing sunglasses above your forehead. The design lets you easily adjust your visor with one hand while riding.
- ROC LOC® AIR DH FIT SYSTEM:
This revolutionary adjustment system adds a new dimension to helmet performance by improving cooling plus sitting comfort and stability. With a patented design that suspends the helmet just slightly above the skull, Roc Loc® Air DH lets cool airflow directly over your head, further improving the performance of ventilation openings and internal channels that remove heat from the helmet. Fit and feel adjustments mimic Roc Loc 5, letting you customize fit tension and helmet lengthwise tilt in seconds with a single hand.
- WIND TUNNEL VENTILATION:
Giro helmets are developed using our proprietary wind tunnel ventilation system. This sophisticated design combines active ventilation openings in the helmet shell with exhaust channels inside the helmet that direct fresh, cool air over and around the rider's head while forcing heat and stale air out. It's the most effective cooling system available and a difference you'll feel on every ride.
