Deuter Starlight

The Deuter Starlight is a synthetic sleeping bag that grows with your child. This version, manufacturer reference 3720121, is designed for body heights of approximately 130 to 170 cm. Reef and Currant are the available colour choices. Both combine their main colour with darker sections; the gallery shows the colour versions and shared construction details.

A zipped extension at the foot adds 30 cm, increasing the sleeping bag’s length from 160 to 190 cm. When the extension remains closed, the additional material provides another insulating layer around the feet. The shaped hood has a soft edge and a drawcord.

A single layer of High-Loft Hollowfibre filling provides insulation. Deuter uses 75D polyester for the lining and 70D polyamide for the outer fabric. The two-way zip is complemented by an anti-snag strip, while an internal pocket holds small personal items. Weight is 900 g plus 44 g for the stuff sack. Packed dimensions are approximately 20 × 33 cm, equivalent to a volume of 10 litres.

Adjust the length to suit the child and check that the zip and hood can be operated comfortably before a camping trip. Air the sleeping bag thoroughly after use and pack it away only when dry. Follow its care label when cleaning.
