Swix Sonic Ultra Trail Carbon

The Swix Sonic Ultra Trail Carbon are fixed-length poles for trail running and active walks. Article family AT10U-00 uses a carbon shaft with natural cork in the gripping area. The lengths offered here run from 105 to 135 cm in 5 cm steps. These poles have no telescopic adjustment or folding mechanism, so select a length that suits your proportions and the way you intend to move.

The Just Click system connects the strap to the grip. It lets you disconnect your hand from the pole without opening the entire strap, which can be useful during short stops. Equipment includes a Just Go Sport hard-metal tip and rubber pads for asphalt. Swix gives a weight of 280 g per pair at 120 cm, equivalent to 140 g per pole. That reference figure should not be transferred automatically to every length.

Try the grip and strap in your intended hand position before setting out. Check shafts, tips, pads and strap attachment regularly, replacing worn parts according to the manufacturer's guidance. Match the tip covering to the surface rather than assuming one setup suits every route. Remove dirt gently after use and allow damp grips and straps to dry before storage. Follow Swix's instructions when operating the Just Click connection or replacing components.
