Holmenkol SmartWaxer 230V

The HOLMENKOL SmartWaxer 230 V is a compact waxing iron for applying hot wax to ski and snowboard bases. Temperature is set with a rotary dial. Its adjustment range of 50 to 160°C allows it to be matched to different waxes whose processing temperature falls within that range.

Base plate and equipment

The 12 mm thick base plate supports consistent heat regulation. A special structure on its underside helps distribute wax across the glide surface. The specified 230 V version comes with a heat-resistant resting plate. Before use, check the information on the appliance and the appropriate power connection.

Choose the temperature for the wax

Set the temperature according to the instructions for the wax being used. Snow temperature and ironing temperature on a wax package describe different things. The appliance's adjustment range is therefore not a recommendation to process every wax at the same setting.

Secure the ski or snowboard for controlled application and keep the iron moving during use. Follow the base preparation guidance and allow the wax to cool as directed before scraping.

After use

Rest the iron on the intended support. Disconnect it after use and let it cool before storage. Keep the base plate clean according to the appliance instructions and observe the manufacturer's safety information.
