Schwalbe Marathon Plus MTB / HS 468

The Schwalbe Marathon Plus MTB HS 468 in 60-584 (27.5 x 2.35 inch) combines a mountain bike tread with Smart DualGuard construction. This wide version is intended for asphalt, unpaved tracks and light terrain. The black wired tyre with reflective stripes carries the E-50 marking and is fitted with a compatible inner tube.

Selection and fitting

Before choosing, compare the full ETRTO size with your existing tyre and rim. Check the permitted tyre width and clearance at the frame and fork. This version is used with a compatible inner tube. Observe the direction of rotation and pressure requirements on the tyre and rim during fitting. The permitted pressure of the complete wheel is governed by the applicable limits of its components.

Care and inspection

Check pressure, tread and sidewalls regularly. Carefully remove embedded objects and inspect the tyre after a hard impact or puncture. A puncture protection layer reduces the risk of certain types of damage but does not replace regular inspection. Replace the tyre if there are cracks, exposed casing or other significant damage.

In-stock items usually ship from our warehouse within 1 to 3 working days. If the item is in stock in one of our stores, you can also pick it up there free of charge. In Pfronten this also works for items that are only in stock in Ronsberg: we bring them over, which usually takes 2 to 4 days.
