Schwalbe Schlauch Nr.13 (26")

The Schwalbe Standard SV13 is a butyl inner tube for suitable 26-inch tyres. This version has a 40 mm Sclaverand valve, also known as a Presta or SV valve. It belongs to the No. 13 size family. Fit depends on your tyre's ETRTO dimensions and the rim's valve opening as well as the valve type.

Technical details

• Manufacturer article: 10425343.
• Model: Schwalbe Standard SV13.
• Size range: ETRTO 40/62-559.
• Listed tyre widths: 40, 47, 50, 54, 57, 60 and 62 mm with a 559 mm bead seat diameter.
• Valve: Sclaverand/Presta, 40 mm.
• Material: butyl.
• Stated weight: approximately 190 g.

Compare the size printed on the tyre sidewall with these details. Check that the narrow Presta valve and its length suit your rim. Your pump connection must work with Presta valves; the number 13 alone does not identify the valve version.

Installation and pressure

Before fitting, inspect the tyre and rim tape for damage or foreign objects. Avoid trapping the tube between the tyre bead and rim during installation, and follow the relevant manufacturers' fitting instructions.

Permitted pressure depends on the tyre and rim. Check it regularly and before longer rides. Sharing a tube size range does not mean every compatible tyre should be run at the same pressure.
