Schwalbe Schlauch Nr. 7 (20")

The Schwalbe AV7 is a standard butyl bicycle inner tube for compatible 20-inch tyres. This version has a Schrader valve (AV) with a 40 mm length. Select it using the ETRTO sizes listed below, together with valve type and length, rather than the tube family name alone.

Selection and fitting

Compare the ETRTO marking on your tyre with the approved sizes and also check the valve hole in the rim. The inch designation alone is not sufficient for selection. The valve must suit the rim and pump head, and its length must remain accessible with your rim depth. Fit the tube without twisting it and take care not to trap it between tyre and rim during installation.

Care and inspection

Before fitting, inspect the tyre and rim tape for a possible cause of the puncture. Inflate according to the tyre and rim requirements and check correct seating. Check air pressure regularly. Keep a spare tube protected from sharp tools and strong heat sources.
