Blue Ice Rope Tarp

The Blue Ice Rope Tarp in Shadow is a rope sheet that folds into a simple carrying bag. At the foot of a climbing route, it keeps the rope away from direct ground contact. Colour coded loops help organise rope ends, while outer handles make it easier to move between routes. The compact design works on its own or for keeping a rope separate inside a climbing pack.

Selection and use

Spread the sheet out before putting the rope on it and organise the ends so that you can find them again. For short moves, gather and close the tarp around the rope. Ropes and carabiners in the photographs illustrate use; this item is the tarp. It does not replace correct rope handling and inspection.

Care and inspection

Remove soil and sand after use before packing the tarp with your rope. Let damp fabric dry completely and follow the care instructions. Inspect loops, handles and seams regularly. Keep dirt out of the closure so that it fastens cleanly when you fold the tarp into carrying mode.

In-stock items usually ship from our warehouse within 1 to 3 working days. If the item is in stock in one of our stores, you can also pick it up there free of charge. In Pfronten this also works for items that are only in stock in Ronsberg: we bring them over, which usually takes 2 to 4 days. The pickup note above and the checkout show where and when you can pick up.
