The REVIVE 2.0 185 benefits from over 3 years of experience with the first generation REVIVE, and we've been able to make what is perhaps the world's best variable dropper post even better, because the new extra-long 213mm variant required some construction tricks and tips, which we've also implemented for all shorter variants.
The most important updates of the REVIVE 2.0 include:

3D-forged, one-piece upper telescope tube for increased stiffness and strength
hard-anodized guide pin seat in the upper telescope tube for increased corrosion resistance
CNC-reworked actuating lever for even finer control

This dropper post is the first and only dropper post on the market featuring our patented REVIVE valve, which allows the seatpost to be bled and reset in just a few seconds.
The REVIVE contains a principally very simple hydraulic system based on an open oil bath. Other posts separate oil and air with a floating piston. The problem with using a floating piston is that 100% sealing must be guaranteed, because if air gets past this piston to the oil side, the seatpost starts to spring undesirably instead of locking. In practice, no seal can guarantee 100% sealing, so many posts end up needing service to be bled.

The REVIVE gets by without this separation piston and can be reset in just seconds if needed (for example, if the post is actuated upside down), without having to remove it.

In-stock items usually ship from our warehouse within 1 to 3 working days. If the item is in stock in one of our stores, you can also pick it up there free of charge. In Pfronten this also works for items that are only in stock in Ronsberg: we bring them over, which usually takes 2 to 4 days.
