Reverse Spacer Set Ultra-Light 1 1/8

The Reverse Ultra-Light Spacer Set contains four aluminium spacing rings for a 1⅛-inch fork steerer. Two rings are 5 mm high and two are 10 mm high, allowing different stack heights to be assembled when setting the stem position. All rings in a set have the selected colour. Choose them to match the steerer and the approved installation of the stem and headset.

Selection and use

Check the available steerer length, the stem’s required clamping height and the fork manufacturer’s instructions. Changing the spacer arrangement alters handlebar height but must remain within the system’s approved limits. These rings are spacing components; correct preload and secure clamping are established when adjusting the headset. Follow the relevant installation instructions for carbon steerers in particular. Have a specialist check a changed arrangement if needed.

Care and checks

Remove dirt gently with a suitable mild cleaner and dry the component afterwards. Regularly inspect fastenings and stressed areas for looseness, wear or damage. Recheck operation after a fall or a substantial impact. Follow the instructions for the component and bicycle when installing, adjusting and maintaining it.
