Reverse Sattelschelle Long Life 34,9

The Reverse Long Life is a quick-release seat collar with a 34.9 mm clamping diameter. Its brass contact surface supports smooth lever operation when opening and closing. It clamps a suitable seatpost in a frame designed for this attachment. Several colours are available. Selection depends on the outside diameter of the frame’s clamping area rather than the seatpost diameter alone.

Selection and use

Before replacement, check the frame interface and the approvals for the frame and seatpost. Adjust the lever as directed so the post is held securely and the quick release closes in a controlled way. This design is intended for a suitable external frame clamp. Follow the relevant requirements for carbon components. After adjustment, check saddle height and secure attachment before riding again.

Care and checks

Remove dirt gently with a suitable mild cleaner and dry the component afterwards. Regularly inspect fastenings and stressed areas for looseness, wear or damage. Recheck operation after a fall or a substantial impact. Follow the instructions for the component and bicycle when installing, adjusting and maintaining it.
