ATK Raider 11 Evo black

Experience the next level of backcountry skiing with the Raider 11 EVO from ATK, a binding designed so you can focus on nothing but skiing. This high-performance binding offers a compelling combination of lightweight design and eight ground-breaking ATK innovations. Whether you are climbing steep slopes or charging down thrilling descents, the ATK Raider 11 EVO is the perfect companion for unforgettable backcountry adventures.

Toe piece:

• A revolutionary toe piece with adjustable release value. For the first time in the history of pin bindings, the toe does not have a fixed release value. Why does this matter? Because toe pieces with a standard value guarantee medium hold, which works best when the heel unit is also set to medium release values. What happens when you move away from these medium values? At low settings the toe pieces provide most of the hold, while at high settings the heel does most of the work. Thanks to the new ATK technology, the toe and heel pieces of the binding now work together equally in controlling release.
• Aluminum Snowpack Proof System. It prevents snow and ice residue from building up under the moving parts of the toe piece.
• Uphill Hardness Variator. A system that lets you adjust the stiffness of the toe bar lock in uphill mode.
• Carefully thought-out geometries that make stepping in easier.
• Integrated ramp support.

Heel piece:

• EVO brake system. One hand is enough to operate the ski brake. Turning the binding head by 180 degrees activates the ski brake and the binding switches from uphill to downhill mode. Now you can simply step in and the fun begins. Turning it again and pressing the boot heel onto the rear plate locks the ski brake and the ascent begins.
• The binding head can now rotate by up to 25 degrees to absorb the load before returning to its position. Compared with previous models, where the maximum angle was 16 degrees, this greater rotation provides better energy absorption thanks to better return to centre.
• Cam release system. Our patented system, which contributes to effortless step-in and ensures amazing torsional rigidity.
• Elastic Response System. This system provides precise release and optimal ski performance by supporting the natural flex of the ski and improving downhill performance.
• Magneto heel flaps. An ingenious mechanism that controls the heel flaps using two different magnets. Convenient and precise, even when operated with poles.

Performance through lightness:

Our foundation, our roots. ATK took its first steps in this industry by developing race bindings, and today, as then, lightness is the key to what athletes long for: speed. So it is easy to understand why 'Performing Through Lightness' is the mantra that has accompanied ATK's growth since the early years.

Even when our role in the ski touring universe began to evolve, we needed some stabilisation, because in a growth phase it is easy to lose control, just as it is easy to get tangled up in events. That is why we decided to keep our roots stable, not to change our approach to the activity and, ultimately, not to get in our own way. We kept working on innovating our products to give an ever wider range of ski tourers the chance to achieve performance through lightness.

Durability:

The Raider 11 EVO is made from high-quality materials and designed to withstand the rigours of backcountry skiing. It offers exceptional durability and reliability. The reinforced components and well-thought-out construction ensure longevity, so you can feel at ease even on your most demanding adventures.
