Identify your ski and boot

Read the external sole length from the boot. The appropriate brake width depends on the ski width under the binding.
  1. Note your ski model and length. Find the waist width in millimetres and the interface or plate in the manufacturer’s specifications.
  2. Note your boot model and sole standard. Read the external sole length in millimetres directly from the shell.
  3. If a detail is missing, select “I don’t know”. Our team can check the combination using model information or photos.

Three different measurements

Foot length · mm
The measured distance from your heel to your longest toe. Your two feet may have different lengths.
Mondopoint · MP
A sizing system based on foot length, usually shown in centimetres for ski boots. Use the chart for the exact model.
External sole length · mm
The outside length of the shell used for binding adjustment. Read it from the boot. It is neither foot length nor Mondopoint size.

Description

The Rossignol R-Classic Quicklock IFP is a cross-country binding for classic skiing. Version RJK1002 mounts on a compatible IFP plate and allows tool-free fore-and-aft position adjustment to suit snow conditions. The front lever operates the manual closure. It is intended for skiers who want to adjust their binding position and use a compatible classic cross-country boot, with a ski prepared for the correct mounting system.

  • RJK1002 classic version with Quicklock adjustment.
  • Mounting on a compatible IFP plate.
  • Manual entry and release using the front lever.
  • For compatible NNN, Prolink and TURNAMIC cross-country boot soles.
  • Manufacturer’s model reference weight: approximately 200g per pair.

Selection and use

Check boot-sole compatibility and ski mounting compatibility separately. A compatible Prolink boot does not mean the binding will fit every Prolink mounting plate: this model requires an IFP interface. Follow the instructions when changing position and check that the binding locks securely afterwards. Its classic flexor is designed for the demands of classic skiing.

Care and inspection

Keep the rail, locking mechanism and boot interface clear of ice and dirt. Inspect the flexor and attachment regularly. Ask a specialist to check installation or any uncertain locking behaviour before using the binding on snow, and follow the manufacturer’s maintenance instructions.
