Since the beginning of snowboarding, we've dreamed of a better, smarter way to attach ourselves to the snowboard than with straps, ratchets and buckles.
It's called "Step On" and it's exactly as simple as it sounds.
The Nitro Profile TLS Step On snowboard boots are the first Nitro boots with Step On compatibility.
That means you get the outstanding comfort, fit and performance you're used to from Nitro, with the added comfort and speed of Step On technology.

Flex:
Flex rating - 8 (1 soft - 10 stiff)
Power Tongue Stiffener - If you want to adjust stiffness throughout the day or season, you can use the removable tongue stiffener to switch between premium precision and a relaxed feel. From steep, deep descents to groomers, you can dial the boot to your style perfectly.

Fit:

• Armored Spine - Nitro uses an anatomically shaped and 3D-molded heel reinforcement to ensure consistent boot flex and long-lasting heel fit.
• Flex Link Design - A flexible panel at the ankle between upper and lower shell provides consistent flex and responsive feel without added weight.
• Internal Ankle Support - An anatomically shaped plate distributes lace pressure across the instep and upper ankle area. The result is more comfort and better, more precise fit.

Inner boot:

• Cloud 9 Liner - Ultra-lightweight, pre-molded Thermacell material provides instant fit with unstoppable comfort. Nitro's signature latex heel pads ensure lifelong heel hold, while the coup tongue makes entering and exiting the boot easier.
• ILS Liner Lacing - The ILS system uses a lacing strap that wraps tightly around the liner and secures it for precise fit in the shell. Purpose-built ILS laces offer less friction and feature a Dyneema® core for added strength.
• RE/LACE Liner Locker - From the innovators at Nitro R&D comes the RE/LACE Liner Locker, which allows easy adjustment of inner boot lacing without unlacing the boot.

Lacing system:

• TLS Twin Lacing System - Nitro leads with the TLS lacing system: easy clip-in and clip-out of laces, combined with the low friction of Dyneema® laces, are the key factors in this extremely reliable zone lacing system. At the same time, the TLS is characterized by its compact size and low weight without sacrificing reliability.
• Bail Out System - Designed to make releasing the TLS system even easier. This pull tab, attached to the middle of the TLS lacing system on the outside of the boot, enables effortless removal and record-breaking speed when taking off your boots.
• Solo Laceglider - A newly designed and precision-shaped low-friction plastic insert attached to the upper sections of the regular lace loop on selected models. It drastically reduces lace friction and makes tying the TLS system easier than ever.
• 45° Laceglider - This precision-shaped, low-friction plastic insert is positioned at 45° in the ankle area, reduces lace friction and makes lacing even easier.

Footbed:

• Dual Density Ortholite® Insole - The world's leading provider of open-cell foam soles offers a dual density insole for support and comfort with antimicrobial, moisture-wicking technology for drier, lower-odor wear feel.
• EVA midsole - The EVA midsole used on all boots with rubber outsoles reduces overall weight and provides cushioning and thermal insulation.

Sole:

• Step On® rubber sole - A highly effective traction pattern combined with wear-resistant, grippy rubber compound ensures additional sole durability and perfect grip, whether walking in the park or down the stairs to the bathroom...

Additional features:

• Therminator Shield - This thermal layer between sole and inner boot reflects your body heat and keeps your feet warm all day long.

 

In-stock items usually ship from our warehouse within 1 to 3 working days. If the item is in stock in one of our stores, you can also pick it up there free of charge. In Pfronten this also works for items that are only in stock in Ronsberg: we bring them over, which usually takes 2 to 4 days. The pickup note above and the checkout show where and when you can pick up. Skis with binding mounting take a little longer: we mount them carefully and let you know as soon as your set is on its way. Personal advice is available by appointment in our store in Ronsberg.
