Mammut Probe 240

Quick to assemble and easy to handle: the Probe 240 scores with simplicity in the most demanding situations. Whether on ski tours, freeriding, or with snowshoes – an avalanche probe is part of every kit. When developing our probes, we pay attention to every detail so they fulfill their purpose: finding the target. The stable, lightweight probe made of robust aluminum has a glove-compatible, pull-resistant telescopic locking system and an ergonomic grip. With it, it can be quickly and reliably deployed. The improved visual depth guidance system always gives you the right information at hand. The shaped tip efficiently penetrates compacted avalanche snow – saving you effort when probing. In an emergency, every second counts. That's why our avalanche safety equipment meets the highest safety standards. All Mammut avalanche probes are UIAA-certified and are therefore efficient for rescue, durable, and ergonomic to handle. This probe with a total length of 240 cm measures 45 cm when folded. It comes with a probe sheath with integrated emergency plan.
