The HOLMENKOL Scraper Sharpener Racing is a manual tool for resharpening acrylic wax scrapers. It is suitable for scrapers 3 to 5 mm thick and can be fastened to a workbench. A100 ×30 mm CrossFile Mini is included and provides the working surface for sharpening the scraper.

Preparation and application

Before sharpening, check the thickness and condition of your scraper. Secure the sharpener to the work surface in accordance with its instructions. Guide the scraper in a controlled way and aim for an even scraping edge. A well-maintained scraper helps remove excess wax cleanly without requiring unnecessary pressure against the ski base.

Care and storage

Remove plastic shavings after use and keep the file clean. Check the mounting and working surface before the next session. Store scrapers and the sharpener dry. Inspect badly damaged or warped scrapers before further use and replace them when required. Choose the correct scraper thickness before putting it through the guide.

In-stock items usually ship from our warehouse within 1 to 3 working days. If the item is in stock in one of our stores, you can also pick it up there free of charge. In Pfronten this also works for items that are only in stock in Ronsberg: we bring them over, which usually takes 2 to 4 days. The pickup note above and the checkout show where and when you can pick up.
