Meindl Pinto Junior GTX navy/orange

The Meindl Pinto Junior GTX in Navy/Orange is a higher-cut children's walking boot. It combines traditional lacing with a treaded junior outsole. Manufacturer reference 2144-49 is intended for family walks and varied outdoor paths. The shop offers EU sizes 27 to 39. The larger sizes listed are also within the manufacturer's stated size range for this model.

The upper uses suede and mesh, with a GORE-TEX lining for wet-weather protection. A Meindl Multigrip G7 Junior sole forms the base. The removable Air Active Best Fit footbed has markings that help assess foot length. This makes the space available easier to judge during fitting. These markings complement checking the fit while the child is actually wearing the boot.

Try both boots with walking socks. Check that the heel stays supported and there is enough room ahead of the toes. Let the child walk and try a gentle slope to assess the fit when descending. Recheck fit regularly as feet grow. After outings, remove dirt and take the footbeds out for airing. Let the boots dry gently and care for the suede according to Meindl's guidance.
