Völkl Peregrine 72 + Bindung R-Motion 12 - 2026/27

Völkl Peregrine 72 + Bindung R-Motion 12 - 2026/27

Ultra-agile through big and small turns, this is the ski that can handle everything on the piste.

The Peregrine 72 is designed for sporty skiers who strive for the perfect turn all day long. From hard snow to mixed conditions, the lively Peregrine 72 switches effortlessly between short and medium-length turns for a dynamic style of skiing. Völkl's 3D Radius Sidecut technology and the tailored carbon inserts in the tip are the foundation for the ski's versatility and agility. Full ABS sidewalls, combined with the multilayer wood core (a mix of hardwood at the sides and softwood in the middle), enable direct power transmission and stability. The new integrated MARKER tool-free R-Motion binding system has a decisive influence on the dynamics of the Peregrine 72. Developed in cooperation with the binding specialist MARKER, the concept offers a new level of edge grip and power transmission in one system that needs no tools for adjustment. The ability to make extremely quick adjustments without tools makes the system particularly attractive for rental operations.

TECHNOLOGIES

  • Tip & Tail Rocker: Rocker only in the tip and tail areas, pre-tension in the binding area
  • Multilayer Woodcore: The sidewall continues into the interior of the ski in the form of directly backed, extremely stable layers of wood along the flanks of the sandwich core. Combined with a more flexible, lighter wood in the middle of the sandwich core, this construction brings numerous benefits: the hardwood content within the sidewall provides increased power transmission, contributes to better edge grip and supports the edge against external impact. The softwood content in the middle of the ski is lighter, giving more agility and manoeuvrability. The combination of both types of wood along the entire length of the ski contributes to an optimal stiffness distribution and enables more precise ski control. The construction offers highly sporty skiers a combination of manoeuvrability and stability, which can also win the decisive hundredths of a second between victory and defeat.
  • Tailored Carbon Tips: With the new, tailored carbon tips, the Tailored Carbon Tips, this innovative manufacturing process embroiders the individual carbon fibres onto a carrier material. This allows them to be positioned exactly along the lines of force, which opens up completely new possibilities, particularly in the tip area. It has a decisive influence on how the ski handles. Through the fibre thickness and millimetre-precise alignment, the stiffness, the torsion and therefore the handling can be adjusted in a targeted way. In this way, the fibres channel the dynamics into the areas of the ski where they are needed. The visibly integrated Tailored Carbon Tips are light, allow an agile tip entry into the turn with less effort and build up energy quickly. This takes the tailored carbon tips to a new level of precision, direct tip response and active riding pleasure.
  • Full Titanal: Titanal in the ski construction makes the ski lively and dynamic. Fans of a hard, fast and aggressive style of skiing in particular benefit from the responsiveness of this construction.
  • 3D Radius Sidecut: Three radii in one ski for maximum carving and speed.
  • Full Sidewall ABS: The specific synthetic material of the sidewall enables precise and direct power transmission.
  • 3D.Glass: Compared with classic glass constructions, the three-dimensional, multiply folded glass layers in the tip and tail areas provide improved edge grip and a more dynamic rebound in turns.
  • Base P-TEX 4504: Sintered, ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene base with extremely high density. P-Tex 4504 is not only particularly wear-resistant, it also offers the best wax absorption and is extremely fast. At Völkl, this base is used exclusively on our top models and race skis. The material composition has been refined with special additives. This produces thermal and electrical conductivity that consistently achieves top values in terms of gliding and speed properties.
  • Zebra Structure: The Zebra structure was developed for the highest precision on the piste and features a deep, high-resolution base pattern tailored specifically to narrower skis fitted with a binding system. This aggressive structure ensures lightning-fast, reliable turn initiation and smooth, controlled drifting for maximum carving performance.
  • Serial Finish: Straight from the factory to the piste: with the "Serial Finish", every ski is tuned perfectly for instant performance. This precisely executed surface treatment maximises gliding comfort, ensures more precise turn initiation and makes additional preparation unnecessary.
  • Fully Structured: From tip to tail, the "Fully Structured" bases feature a continuous, high-traction profile that optimises speed, edge grip and control. Designed for skiers who expect versatility in all conditions with race-inspired responsiveness.

Frequently asked questions

Advice on choosing your alpine skis and matching bindings.

  • How do I check what is included and choose bindings?

Check the product description to find out whether bindings are included and which model comes with the offer. Clarify any uncertainties with us before choosing additional bindings.

  • Which ski length is right for me?

Your height, weight, skiing ability and preferred turns determine the appropriate length. Consider the model description and the available lengths. Our team can help you choose.

  • What matters when choosing bindings?

Skis with system bindings require the intended binding system. For skis supplied without bindings, the ski, binding and boot must work together. Have the specific combination checked before choosing individual components.
