Based on feedback Nike received from recreational runners, the specially developed mesh upper was made lighter and more breathable to improve wearing comfort.
For the first time in a Pegasus, the midsole features ReactX foam, which improves energy return by 13% and reduces carbon emissions by at least 43%.
The forefoot and heel areas provide a stable, springy platform and enable responsive running.
Nike increased the sole heights in the forefoot and heel area to improve cushioning and protection.

New, specially developed mesh upper
The optimized single-layer mesh is lighter and more breathable and provides an ideal balance of wearing comfort and support.

ReactX Foam Midsole
The ReactX foam midsole wraps around the Air Zoom elements in the forefoot and heel, providing an energized running feel.

Waffle pattern outsole
The signature rubber outsole with waffle pattern provides durable traction on the road and offers additional flexibility with grooves.

Additional padding at the collar, tongue, and insole enables a secure and comfortable fit.
