La Sportiva Otaki blue flame

High-performance shoe, precise, structured and supportive: suitable for the climbing gym, long routes, and bouldering.

In Japanese samurai slang, an Otaki is an ancient sword: extremely sharp and precise even on small holds.
The concept applies equally to sport climbing: Otaki is a precise, structured, and well-wearing climbing shoe suited for the climbing gym, long routes, and bouldering, meeting modern climbers' demands through its characteristics.
The new construction concept combines the benefits of the homogeneous wrapping of a ballet shoe with the precise volume regulation of a climbing shoe with Velcro.
This solution provides maximum sensitivity and precise fit even under torsional moments: the shoe follows foot movements perfectly and avoids empty shoe parts and pressure points.
The heel is extremely innovative thanks to the S-Heel™ shell and contributes to maintaining perfect stability even under torsional moments.
Performance and adaptability in hooking, including hooks derived from bouldering, are improved.
The integrated P3 system guarantees shoe shape retention and improves structure and load capacity.
Maximum precision, maximum performance.
