This small pocket knife, equipped with a painted beechwood handle and a 6 cm blade made of stainless steel, accompanies you both in your kitchen and outdoors.
The blade folding into the handle facilitates and secures the knife's storage and allows easy transport for use outside the home.

Stainless steel
Stainless steel is an alloy steel.
It is obtained through the addition of chromium, which significantly increases resistance to corrosion.
Stainless steel requires no special care.

Handle
Beech is the most commonly used wood for making Opinel knife handles.
The beechwood comes from France, is hard, resistant, and easy to work with.
It has a homogeneous appearance and the light color varies from yellowish to rosy.
The wood is recognized by the many small dark stripes.
The handle is varnished for better protection against moisture and dirt.

Safety ring
The Virobloc safety ring was invented in 1955 by Marcel Opinel.
It is present on all folding knives from model N°06 onwards.
The Virobloc is cut from stainless steel and consists of two parts: a fixed part and a sliding part.
In addition to locking the blade in the open position (safe use), it's now also possible to lock the blade in the closed position (safe transport).

In Pfronten this also works for items that are only in stock in Ronsberg: we bring them over, which usually takes 2 to 4 days. Statutory warranty rights apply, plus the manufacturer's guarantee where one is granted. You can return unused items within 14 days of receipt; register the return in your customer account.
