Meindl Ohio 2 men’s hiking boot Terra

The Meindl Ohio 2 in Terra is a men’s hiking boot in the Light Hiker category. It combines a nubuck-leather upper with a leather lining and leather footbed. A Meindl Magic Light Trail sole provides the treaded base. Adjust the raised collar and lacing for a suitable fit around the foot. Selection and use

Try both boots with your intended hiking socks. Allow enough toe room when walking downhill and check heel hold without overtightening the instep. Start with shorter walks and adjust the lacing as needed. Match footwear and route to terrain, weather, experience and pack weight; the category does not replace an individual fit check.

Care and inspection

Remove dirt with a suitable soft brush and let wet boots dry slowly at room temperature. Use care appropriate for nubuck and leather lining as directed by Meindl. Direct heat from a heater can stress the leather. Inspect seams, laces and sole condition, then store the boots clean and completely dry.
