Toko Natural Universal Wax 120g

TOKO Natural Universal Wax is a wax for maintaining and preparing ski and snowboard bases. This version contains 120 g. This universal wax is based on natural, renewable waxes. It can be ironed on as a hot wax or used as a rub-on wax. Choose the wax for the snow type, snow temperature and intended use of your equipment.

Version and temperature range

• Contents: 120 g.
• Snow temperature: 0 to −30°C.
• Air temperature: 10 to −30°C.

As a rub-on wax, it is also intended for suitable climbing skins to limit snow and ice build-up. Follow the skin manufacturer's instructions for that application. Snow temperature describes conditions at the base. It differs from both air temperature and the setting of the waxing iron. Follow the product packaging and the ski or snowboard manufacturer's guidance when preparing the base.

Preparation and storage

Clean and dry the base before waxing. For hot-wax application, distribute the wax with a suitable waxing iron. Keep the iron moving and avoid overheating the base. Allow the wax to cool before scraping off excess material and exposing the structure with suitable brushes.

Store the wax clean and dry, keeping filing dust and dirt away from the working area. Classic cross-country skis have distinct glide and grip zones that require different preparation. Match the application to the construction of your ski rather than applying every wax over the entire base. Check the working sequence for the particular wax before you start.
