HOLMENKOL Natural Skiwax Bar is a universal hot wax for caring for and preparing ski and snowboard bases. This version contains 150 g. This Natural version is intended for all snow types and a universal temperature range. These details help you choose the wax for the snow conditions and incorporate it into regular base maintenance.

• Ironing temperature: 120–130°C.

The snow temperature describes conditions at the base and is different from the temperature setting of the waxing iron. Also consider snow type, moisture and wear when choosing a wax. A suitable temperature range alone does not guarantee a particular increase in speed.

Application and finishing

Start with a clean, dry base. Apply the wax using an appropriate waxing iron according to the product instructions. Keep the iron moving and follow the ski or snowboard manufacturer's guidance as well. Allow the base to cool before scraping off excess wax and exposing the structure with a suitable brush.

Keep the wax pieces clean and separate from filing dust. Classic cross-country skis have distinct glide and grip zones, which require different preparation. Match the application to the construction of your ski and to the intended waxing sequence.
