Which pole length do I need?
Alpine, touring, classic and skating need different pole lengths. For adjustable poles, check the usable length range.
Choose for the child’s current height and sport. Do not add length just to allow room to grow.

Check when trying out
- The grip should feel secure in your hand while wearing your gloves.
- For adjustable poles, your working length must stay within the approved range. Follow the manufacturer’s markings and locking instructions.
- Use the separate guidance for classic and skating. Do not apply the alpine elbow check to Nordic poles.
Measure your height and check pole length
- Measure your height without shoes from the floor to the top of your head.
- Compare it with the manufacturer’s guidance for your sport. Packed length is the collapsed length for transport.
- For alpine poles: place the pole vertically and check that your upper and lower arm form roughly a right angle. Use separate sport-specific guidance for Nordic poles.

Description
The HEAD Monster Team is an alpine ski pole for children. Its 5083 aluminium shaft measures 14 mm in diameter. A plastic grip designed for children and an Automatic strap form part of the equipment. Available lengths run from 80 to 105 cm, allowing you to select a version suited to your child and their ski equipment.

Selection and use
The appropriate pole length depends on height, stance and skiing use. Ideally, check the choice together with the ski boots your child wears and ask for advice if needed. Small hands should be able to hold the grip comfortably. Also check the strap fit. Reassess the length as your child grows or their equipment changes.
Care and checks
Remove snow and dirt after skiing and allow the poles to dry. Regularly inspect the shafts, baskets, tips and straps for damage. Have a bent shaft or loose component assessed before further use. Follow the relevant HEAD instructions for adjustment and care, and store the poles in a dry place.

In-stock items usually ship from our warehouse within 1 to 3 working days. If the item is in stock in one of our stores, you can also pick it up there free of charge. In Pfronten this also works for items that are only in stock in Ronsberg: we bring them over, which usually takes 2 to 4 days. The pickup note above and the checkout show where and when you can pick up. Skis with binding mounting take a little longer: we mount them carefully and let you know as soon as your set is on its way. Personal advice is available by appointment in our store in Ronsberg. Warranty & returns
Statutory warranty rights apply, plus the manufacturer's guarantee where one is granted. You can return unused items within 14 days of receipt; register the return in your customer account. We refund the purchase price of the items minus a 5 € return fee (6.90 € from abroad); you receive the return label from us. Skis mounted according to your details are excluded from exchange.
