The Patagonia men’s Torrentshell 3L Jacket is a three-layer rain jacket in Aquatic Blue. Its H2No Performance Standard construction combines a recycled nylon face fabric with a membrane and tricot backer. The regular-fit jacket has an adjustable hood, underarm ventilation zips and two hand pockets. It can be packed into the left pocket, keeping the shell neatly contained with the rest of your equipment.

Selection and use

Choose a size with room for the layers you intend to wear underneath. Adjust the hood, hem and cuffs before setting out in rain, and use the underarm zips for extra ventilation while moving. Patagonia states that the fabric, membrane and DWR finish are made without intentionally added PFAS. The face fabric is distinct from the jacket’s other layers; the entire construction is not made solely of nylon.

Care and inspection

Follow the care label, close the zips and do not use fabric softener. Caring for the water-repellent finish is part of maintaining a rain shell. Dry and store the jacket clean after use, following Patagonia’s instructions for cleaning and renewing the finish.

In-stock items usually ship from our warehouse within 1 to 3 working days. If the item is in stock in one of our stores, you can also pick it up there free of charge. In Pfronten this also works for items that are only in stock in Ronsberg: we bring them over, which usually takes 2 to 4 days. The pickup note above and the checkout show where and when you can pick up.
