Climbing Technology Lime SG

The Climbing Technology Lime SG is a compact carabiner with a manually operated screwgate. Its hot-forged aluminium-alloy construction and classic shape are intended for mountaineering and sport climbing according to the manufacturer’s instructions. A catch-free nose helps with clipping and unclipping by avoiding a protruding hook that could snag gear loops. The screwgate must be deliberately closed and checked before loading. The existing colour variants differ at the gate; refer to the version selected in the shop.

Selection and use

Check compatibility with the other components in your safety system. Close the gate and tighten the sleeve according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Check the intended loading direction and avoid cross-loading or resting the carabiner on an edge. The stated strengths are technical test values; they do not replace correct use or the necessary training in handling climbing equipment.

Care and inspection

Inspect the body, gate and screw sleeve for damage, wear and correct function before every use. Remove dirt according to the care instructions and dry the carabiner before storage. After an exceptional load or whenever safety is in doubt, follow the manufacturer’s retirement criteria. Do not continue using damaged equipment.
