Skylotec Climbing Technology Lime SG

The Skylotec Climbing Technology Lime SG is a compact aluminium screwgate carabiner for climbing and mountaineering. Reference H-6024 identifies the model family. Its classic shape suits versatile connections within an appropriate climbing system. Select the preferred colour from the available variants. The screwgate is operated manually and must be fully closed and locked before loading, with the complete connection checked rather than only the carabiner in isolation.

The body is made from hot-forged aluminium alloy. A catch-free nose is designed to reduce snagging during clipping and unclipping. The stated gate opening is 17 mm. Manufacturer strength ratings are 23 kN along the major axis with the gate closed, and 8 kN across the minor axis or with the gate open. The model is listed as a type B carabiner under EN 12275. These ratings describe test conditions and do not replace correct use.

Before each use, inspect the body, gate and screw sleeve. Avoid cross-loading, loading over edges and accidental opening caused by other equipment. Follow the instructions and check compatibility within the complete system. After a significant fall or damage, have continued use assessed appropriately. Keep the mechanism clean, dry it after exposure to moisture and store it according to the manufacturer’s guidance.
