Choose the ski length

Rule of thumb: your height minus 5 to 20 cm. Beginners go shorter, sporty skiers longer.

Size help

Which ski length suits me?

The right length depends on the model, intended use, body measurements and ability. For Nordic skis, body weight and suitable flex are especially important.

A reviewed size recommendation is not yet available for this model. Use the measuring guide to prepare, then ask our team for help choosing.

Check before choosing

  • Compare only lengths supported by the reviewed guidance for this model.
  • Consider your ability and intended use. For touring, also consider whether ascent or descent matters more to you.
  • Check ski, binding and boot compatibility separately.

Measure your height and weight

Stand upright against a wall without shoes and measure from the floor to the top of your head.
  1. Stand against a wall without shoes, looking straight ahead.
  2. Ask someone to measure from the floor to the top of your head in centimetres.
  3. Check your current weight. For Nordic skis, use the weight range and flex for the exact model.

Size help

Which helmet size fits?

Measure your head and compare it with the size range for this helmet model. Check the fit around your head shape when trying it on.

A reviewed size recommendation is not yet available for this model. Use the measuring guide to prepare, then ask our team for help choosing.

Check when trying on

  • The helmet should fit snugly without pressure points. Follow the manufacturer’s fitting instructions.
  • It should stay in place when you gently shake your head. Check the adjusted chin strap too.
  • Try it with your goggles. The helmet should fit with them without pushing them down.

Measure your head circumference

Place a soft tape measure level around the widest part of your head, above your eyebrows and ears.
  1. Wrap a soft tape around the widest part of your head, above your eyebrows and ears.
  2. Keep the tape level and close to your head without pulling tight. Read the measurement in centimetres.
  3. Repeat the measurement. Without a tape measure, use string and measure its length afterwards.

Binding adjustment

Free

The binding is already on the ski. Our workshop adjusts it free of charge. Enter the boot sole length now or send it after your order.

The boot sole length is printed in mm on the outside of the ski boot shell, usually at the heel (for example 305). It is not your shoe size. Required for the adjustment, only values between 200 and 380 mm possible. The binding is adjusted to a sample boot. Sport Schindele does not guarantee correct release. Please have it checked by a specialist retailer before use.
