CMP Kids Melnick low Trekking WP blue fuxia (Size 28 to 37)

The CMP Kids Melnick Low Trekking WP in Blue/Fuxia is a low-cut hiking shoe for children. This version, reference 3Q18594/30MR, is offered in sizes 28 to 37. It combines an upper featuring suede with a quick-lacing system adjusted using a stopper.

A Clima Protect membrane provides weather protection. The rubber outsole uses CMP's FullOnGrip compound, and a reinforced toe area completes the design. The low collar allows freedom around the ankle and suits active outings where a low-cut shoe is appropriate for the child and route. The manufacturer's stated weight is approximately 300 g per shoe.

Have your child try both shoes with the socks they will wear for walking, then walk a few steps. The heel should feel controlled while the toes have room to move. Check the fit when stepping down as well. Adjust the lace stopper to provide support without pressure, and secure loose lace ends carefully.

After an outing, remove loose dirt from the tread. Clean the upper gently according to CMP's care instructions and let damp shoes air out. Avoid strong direct heat when drying. Regularly inspect the outsole, seams and quick-lacing system. As children's feet grow, reassess the fit periodically, particularly before longer walks.
