Atomic Icon RS 19 red black

First-class race performance for FIS use.
The Atomic Icon RS 19 is a high-performance alpine race binding that excels across the board in both high-stakes FIS and World Cup races.
With a Z-value of 11 to 19, FIS and EC athletes in slalom, giant slalom and super-G benefit from extremely precise power transmission and uncompromising control.
Thanks to the centralised power transmission, the mounting points are located directly under the boot, which significantly increases leverage.
Added to this is the Metal Race Pedal for maximum responsiveness.
Because the raised brakes pull in close to the heel piece, you can ski tighter, sportier angles on the edge without getting caught in the snow.
And the automatically adjustable toe piece enables constant release values.
A steel and fibreglass PA construction brings an ideal mix of stability, reliability and robustness.
With this binding, demanding racers can attack fully in every turn.

Centralised power transmission
Wider base, race-oriented mounting: plenty of power thanks to mounting points directly under the boot.

Metal Race Pedal
Thanks to the Metal Race Pedal, the ski boot stands directly on the AFD toe section for top power transmission.

Raised brakes
Raised brakes pull closer to the binding, enabling tighter angles on the edge.

Steel and fibreglass PA construction
A perfect mix of steel and fibreglass PA materials for first-class race performance.

Automatically adjusting toe piece
The toe piece adapts to standardised alpine boots for consistent release values with every boot.

Snap-in brakes
Brakes with a clever clip-in system hold the skis together for easy shouldering and carrying.

Size help

Does this binding fit my equipment?

We check the ski interface, brake width and boot compatibility separately. A suitable brake width alone does not confirm the complete combination.

A reviewed size recommendation is not yet available for this model. Use the measuring guide to prepare, then ask our team for help choosing.

Have these checked before use

  • Resolve all three checks: ski interface, brake width and boot compatibility.
  • Have a qualified workshop mount the binding, adjust it to the actual boot and test its release.
  • This guide does not calculate a personal DIN/release setting or replace binding adjustment.

Identify your ski and boot

Read the external sole length from the boot. The appropriate brake width depends on the ski width under the binding.
  1. Note your ski model and length. Find the waist width in millimetres and the interface or plate in the manufacturer’s specifications.
  2. Note your boot model and sole standard. Read the external sole length in millimetres directly from the shell.
  3. If a detail is missing, select “I don’t know”. Our team can check the combination using model information or photos.

Three different measurements

Foot length · mm
The measured distance from your heel to your longest toe. Your two feet may have different lengths.
Mondopoint · MP
A sizing system based on foot length, usually shown in centimetres for ski boots. Use the chart for the exact model.
External sole length · mm
The outside length of the shell used for binding adjustment. Read it from the boot. It is neither foot length nor Mondopoint size.

What goes into this product

  • Centralized Power Transfer Centralized Power TransferA wider base plate and race mounting pattern put the power directly under the boot.
A wider base plate and a race mounting pattern strategically position the mounting points directly under the boot for more direct power transmission. Centralized power transfer brings every movement straight to the edge, as on the bindings of Atomic's World Cup athletes.
