Rossignol Hero + JR Kid 4 (100-120cm) 2026/27
The Rossignol Hero Junior set with JR Kid 4 is designed for children learning their first turns on groomed slopes or developing their basic skiing skills. This listing offers lengths of 100, 110 and 120 cm. Its sporty Hero graphics are paired with an easy-handling construction intended to support young skiers as they progress.
The ski uses cap construction and a lightweight core with fibreglass reinforcement. A small amount of tip rocker helps initiate turns, while camber underfoot supports edge engagement on the piste. The flex is adapted to the ski length. Choose a length with the child’s height, ability and intended use in mind, rather than relying on age alone.
The set includes the JR Kid 4 binding. Before first use, a qualified ski technician must check mounting, boot compatibility and the binding setting. This requires the actual ski boot and the child’s relevant personal details. A change of boot size calls for another adjustment check.
After skiing, allow the skis and bindings to dry and remove moisture from the steel edges. Check the bases, edges and bindings for damage before the next outing. Regular servicing helps maintain consistent handling.

Size help
Which ski length suits me?
The right length depends on the model, intended use, body measurements and ability. For Nordic skis, body weight and suitable flex are especially important.
Use a child’s current height, weight and ability. Do not add length just to allow room to grow.
A reviewed size recommendation is not yet available for this model. Use the measuring guide to prepare, then ask our team for help choosing.
Check before choosing
- Compare only lengths supported by the reviewed guidance for this model.
- Consider your ability and intended use. For touring, also consider whether ascent or descent matters more to you.
- Check ski, binding and boot compatibility separately.
Measure your height and weight
- Stand against a wall without shoes, looking straight ahead.
- Ask someone to measure from the floor to the top of your head in centimetres.
- Check your current weight. For Nordic skis, use the weight range and flex for the exact model.
