Ortlieb Handlebar Mounting-Set Lenker Montageset

The ORTLIEB Handlebar Mounting-Set E225 attaches a compatible handlebar bag or basket to your bicycle. A mounting cable secures the black adapter around the handlebar, making it useful when preparing another bicycle for the same bag. This version has no lock. Reflective foil remains visible on the front when the bag is removed. The manufacturer specifies a maximum load of 5 kg.

Selection and use

Before buying, check handlebar diameter, handlebar material and the bag interface. Leave brake hoses, gear cables and controls clear around the adapter. Fit the set using the supplied ORTLIEB instructions. After attaching the bag, check that it has engaged and that steering remains unrestricted. Also respect any lower load limit specified for the handlebar or bag.

Care and inspection

Remove dirt gently with a damp cloth and keep the release mechanism clear. Regularly inspect the cable, bolt and mounting block for secure attachment and damage. Check the mounting before each ride, especially after changing the setup. Replace damaged parts according to the manufacturer’s guidance before loading the adapter again.
