Contour Frontclip

The Contour Frontclip is a slotted plastic clip for the front attachment of older Contour climbing skins. It secures the folded section of skin at the tip loop. This small spare part lets you retain an existing attachment when its original clip is missing or damaged. It belongs to the Contour 4233 range.

Selection and use

Choose the width to match your existing skin attachment. Compare the old clip and tip loop rather than relying on ski width alone. Check the shape and dimensions of your attachment before ordering a width. If you cannot identify the version with confidence, bring the skin in for advice. After fitting it, check that the folded section sits neatly and the clip holds securely.

Care

Remove dirt carefully and allow the part to dry before storage. Inspect the plastic regularly for cracks or deformation and replace a damaged clip before its next use.

In-stock items usually ship from our warehouse within 1 to 3 working days. If the item is in stock in one of our stores, you can also pick it up there free of charge. In Pfronten this also works for items that are only in stock in Ronsberg: we bring them over, which usually takes 2 to 4 days.
