POC Fornix Mips uranium black matte

The Fornix Mips has been optimized for improved functionality and fit, protecting you with high comfort everywhere on the mountain.
Mips improves protection against rotational impact forces.
The original all-mountain helmet has been revised and now offers improved fit and functionality, while continuing to ensure proven protection for long days everywhere on the mountain.
The revised interior improves fit and comfort, while Mips rotational impact protection provides additional protection.
This means the helmet also offers comfort and safety on the longest days on the mountain.
Thicker padding at the helmet edge and crown ensures a softer, more heavily padded feel at the contact points between the helmet and head.
Improvements to the 360° adjustment system and the adjustment dial make it even easier to find a secure fit.
The Fornix Mips can be worn with or without ear pads and features an extremely adjustable chin strap with adjustment elements inspired by bicycle helmets.
The strap offers comfort and flexibility, regardless of whether the ear pads are attached.
The soft and flexible ear pads offer comfort and warmth when temperatures drop or the wind picks up.
Classic design details of the helmet, such as the integrated aramid bridges for improved penetration protection, a ski goggle clip, and the adjustable ventilation, continue to ensure comfort and safety on every trip to the mountains.

Adjustable ventilation
The ventilation can be fully adjusted, ensuring optimal comfort in a wide range of weather conditions.

Flexible ear pads
The soft, flexible ear pads can be removed when needed – ideal if you prefer to ride with free ears.

Goggle clip
A solid goggle clip at the back of the head provides additional support and securely fixes the goggle to the helmet.

360° adjustment system
With the 360° adjustment system, you can quickly find a secure, comfortable fit – without changing pads.

Goggle ventilation channels
Ventilation openings in the helmet are precisely coordinated with the ski goggle and effectively channel rising steam away.
