Oneal FLOW Knee Guard

The O’NEAL FLOW Knee Guard is a lightweight knee protector with soft IPX gel protection. Its elasticated pull-on sleeve sits close to the leg and can be worn beneath suitable additional clothing. An opening behind the knee complements ventilation. The low-profile construction takes relatively little room when packed away. The manufacturer lists the model as certified to EN 1621-1, Level 1. Actual protection also depends on appropriate size, correct positioning and the condition of the product.

Selection and use

Measure the leg circumferences required by the size chart and check the fit with your knee bent. The protector must cover the kneecap in the intended position and should not slip while pedalling. Follow the stated use and instructions. A guard cannot prevent injury in every situation; choose your remaining equipment to suit the ride.

Care and inspection

Inspect the sleeve, seams and protective insert for cracks, wear or deformation before use. Clean according to the care label and let the guard dry completely. Avoid direct radiator heat and aggressive cleaning products. After a significant impact or visible damage, follow the manufacturer’s replacement guidance before continuing to use the protection.
