Preparation and application

Before starting, establish the edge angle and the preparation step your ski or snowboard needs. Secure the equipment and check that the tool fits the intended file holder. Work with controlled, even strokes and avoid removing unnecessary material. The right combination of tool, guide and working angle matters more than applying heavy pressure.

Care and storage

Remove filings after use and store the tool dry. Regularly inspect its working surface for wear and damage. A clean contact surface helps you maintain the selected angle consistently. Choose the sequence of edge preparation around the condition of the edge and the preparation instructions for your equipment.

In-stock items usually ship from our warehouse within 1 to 3 working days. If the item is in stock in one of our stores, you can also pick it up there free of charge.
